St. Anne’s Cathedral, Leeds is a wonderful building, designed in the Arts and Crafts style. Built at the turn of the 20th century, the architects had only a small site to work with, which forced them be creative with the little space they had.
We are incredibly proud of our work on the cathedral. As part of a 15 month reordering process, Great British Lighting manufactured the Neo-Gothic wall bracketed and hanging lanterns, wired with modern day, energy saving lamps.
When discussing the redesign with the architect, we agreed that the goal of the project should be for any adjustments to mix seamlessly with the distinctive design of the cathedral. Please click on the thumbnails above to see how we accomplished this.
