The Tavern at the Mill was taken over by Joseph Holt of Manchester in July 2007, who subsequently spent £1.2 million buying and refurbishing the site. Just a stone’s throw away from Thornton’s famous 18th century tower windmill, it’s a picturesque setting to relax and admire the surroundings.

With a modern, elegant design, Great British Lighting were happy to create a selection of pendants and wall brackets in stainless steel for the tavern, along with a series of bespoke handmade fabric shades. Also pictured are our unique wall cane fixtures, a distinctive alternative to the ordinary hanging lampshade.
